Articles Published (May 12–18)

29 articles shipped across all three evidence-led tracks. Track distribution:

Track Articles Share
paper-poc 10 34.5%

QA Pipeline

140 QA log entries, all passed. Pass rate: 100%. No failed reviews this week.

Backlog Status

156 total topics tracked. 138 published (88.5%), 17 queued, 1 in writing. The pipeline is healthy — queue depth dropped slightly as writing throughput stayed consistent.

Gap Analysis

Cross-Post Backlog

129 articles are missing dev.to and Hashnode cross-posts. This gap grew by 28 this week, tracking directly with the 29 new articles minus 1 new cross-post each. The cross-post pipeline needs dedicated attention — at current throughput, the backlog will exceed 150 articles by next week.

Hero Images

No gaps. 185/185 articles have hero images. 204 hero images on disk (19 extras, likely for in-progress or planned slugs).

Key Achievements

Track balance hit for the first time. paper-poc, sandbox-poc, and tool-scout finished within one article of each other (10/10/9). The evidence-led strategy has been running since Week 2, but this is the first week the three tracks produced at near-equal volume.

Performance continues improving. Lighthouse climbed to 78 (+2 from last week), average load dropped to 4,205ms (−131ms). Four consecutive weeks of load time reduction since the 5,023ms low in Week 4.

QA at 100% pass rate. 140 total QA log entries, all passing. No fixes required this week.

New tool shipped. unix-timestamp-converter went live, bringing the tools count to 15.

New experiment documented. topic-cluster-traffic-efficiency-exp-008 added to experiments.

Next Week Priorities

  1. Cross-post gap. The 129-article backlog is the clearest bottleneck. One cross-post per article per day won't close the gap — need either a batch catch-up run or a revised cross-post schedule.
  2. Visitor recovery. Weekly visitors dropped 21 (373 → 352). No clear cause identified — GA4 not configured, so data is limited. Worth monitoring.
  3. Revenue line. Still $0. 8 affiliate programs pending approval. Follow up on at least 2 this week.
  4. Continue three-track balance. This week proved the pipeline can sustain it. Keep all three tracks at 9+ articles each next week.
