Eight weeks in. Twenty-six articles shipped across three evidence tracks. Weekly visitors climbed to 753, up from 673 last week (+12%). The catalog stands at 240 published articles. Hero coverage holds at 100% for the fifth consecutive week. One performance flag to address: Lighthouse dropped again to 69, and average load time crossed 4,900ms.

Sandbox-poc led this week, paper-poc was slightly lighter. Still within healthy range of the target 34/33/33 split.

Topic Backlog

Queued topics dropped to 11 — second consecutive week below 15. The pipeline is consuming topics faster than they are added. Superseded count increased by 3, suggesting some topics were overtaken by faster-moving news. Backlog refill is now urgent.

Traffic

Weekly visitors reached 753 — up 80 from 673 last week (+12%). Growth continued but decelerated from last week's +91% surge. The catalog at 240 articles continues to build keyword surface area; the compound effect from weeks 2–4 content remains visible in the top pages.

Gap Analysis

Cross-Post Backlog — Worsening

185 articles have no dev.to or Hashnode artifact. That is 77% of the catalog on a single domain. Cross-post artifacts dropped by 1 (56→55) while 26 new articles published — the gap grew by 27 in a single week.

At the current rate of zero new cross-posts per week, this gap will reach 200+ within two weeks. Cross-posting is the highest-leverage operation currently unaddressed: zero new writing cost, direct distribution to two established developer audiences.

Performance Regression — Escalating

Lighthouse dropped from 73 to 69 — the second consecutive week of decline (78→73→69). Average load time increased from 4,400ms to 4,962ms (+562ms). The site is now measurably slower than it was two weeks ago.

Root cause not yet isolated. With 240 articles and 258 hero images, image delivery is the primary suspect. A page-weight audit and image optimization pass is overdue.

QA Coverage

data/qa-log.json was not found on disk this week. QA state is not trackable without that file. Prior weeks reported 100% pass rate on 154 reviews. If QA logging has been paused or the file location changed, it should be restored before the next report cycle.
